Beginner Orchestra
The Beginner Orchestra consists of students who have had no previous experience playing the string instruments of the orchestra: Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass. These students consist mainly of sixth graders, however, there are some exceptions. Throughout the year, the students will be introduced to proper instrument position and posture, note and rhythm reading, and left and right hand playing technique. As the students progress, students perform at concerts and festivals throughout the year.
